Lara’s Bathroom Design Process
- Initial Bathroom Consult: At our first meeting, we review everything you want and need for your bathrooms so we can get a clear understanding of what should be incorporated into the plans. This determines which updated bathroom renovation services will be required and what architecture elements exist or need to be added. All of this information will act as the overview for the designs and scope of work.
- Take Bathroom Measurements: In order to begin the renderings and plans, we start by taking precise measurements of the spaces to be renovated. Additionally, if it is a new build, we will use any existing plans showing the footprint of the rooms for our drawings.
- Bathroom Layout & Vanity Details: Once measurements are taken, we complete the drawings and detailed vanity cabinetry renderings. These will also include lighting & electrical plans, plumbing fixture placement such as sinks, showers, tubs mirrors, tile layouts, etc.
- Bathroom Drawings Review: We present the initial plans and renderings to you and gather your feedback to make any necessary adjustments.
- Bathroom Materials, Finishes, & Fixtures Selections: Lara presents her selections for the best materials and finishes appropriate for your application, budget & preferences. Also presented for your review will be lighting & plumbing options, cabinet hardware, bathroom accessories, and linens.
- Bathroom Contractor Quotes & Purchasing: Upon your final plan approvals, we will then gather estimates for your bathroom from contractors and carpenters. We will guide you throughout the entire project by creating detailed work lists and schedules. The purchasing will also begin to ensure all is ready to go before demolition starts. We keep track of costs and help to maintain your bathroom budget requirements.
- Oversee Bathroom Renovation Construction & Installations: During the renovation, we meet regularly on site, inspecting the work, managing the budget, and keeping things moving along on schedule. Lara will personally oversee and manage all of the installations: cabinetry, countertops, tiles, etc., to make sure to get the job done perfectly. Lara's highly trained eye and keen organizational skills are crucial to your project's successful outcome.
