Lara attended Cornell Universityโs School of Fine Arts, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and The New York School of Interior Design.ย Upon earning her Bachelorโs in Fine Arts degree, she worked for some of the countryโs most famous interior designers in New York City before starting her own design firm in 1995.ย Since then, she has won Westchester Home Magazine Design Awards in 2012 and was a finalist in 2018, 2021, & 2022.ย She won Serendipity Magazine Design Innovatorโs Awards in 2019, 2022, & 2023.ย She was voted Best Interior Designer in Westchester by Westchester Magazine in 2018 and was voted Best Home Decor & Furnishings by Greenwich Lifestyle Magazine in 2024.ย

My modern bathroom design for client`s total home remodel & addition...a neutral, calming palette was requested so I used a beautiful marble mosaic floor tile in white, beige & tans and a coordinating large format porcelain tile in a calacatta look for walls.
The no curb shower allows the floor tiles to span seamlessly from main floor into shower for a sleek, modern look. Custom vanities in a cerused gray wash flank both sides of this stunning bath ๐๐ XO Lara

Naturally, I installed a space-saving, modern wall-hung toilet, a custom-carved marble sink sculpted after the Roman Colosseum stadium as inspiration, leather-wrapped faucet handles from @Waterworks, alabaster sconces from @Visualcomfort, and the breathtaking @Designersguild wall mural. My incredible contracting team was able to position the birds strategically, surprising & delighting both client and guests alike. ๐๐ XO Lara
