1. Heated Floors

If you’re considering changing out your floor tiles, installing heated flooring under tiles provides superlative comfort.  It’s easier and less expensive than you think!  Great for those chilly mornings, the heat from the floors radiates up through the tiles surface to warm your feet and toes while you get dressed and ready for your day.  In the evenings, they’ll help you wind down and relax after stepping in or out of your steamy shower or warm bath.  An additional bonus: Our furry family members absolutely love heated floors and we have been told that it has a calming effect on them too! 

2. Towel Warmers

Wrapping up with a snuggly warm, plush towel after a shower or bath is a wonderfully luxurious way to pamper yourself!  There are many beautifully designed towel warmers available to fit whatever style you desire in various sizes and finishes.  Everyone needs towel bars in their bathrooms, so why not make it a towel warmer?  There are hard-wired or plug-in versions available with or without timers.   

3. Steam Showers

One of the best ways to turn your bathroom into your own mini tranquil oasis is to install a steam shower. It not only looks stunning and elegant, but with a small amount of care, it will look timeless and classic for decades. Natural stone should always be sealed after installation and every 1-2 years re-sealed depending on how much use it gets. I typically have my marble polished and cleaned also about once every 5 years to maintain its beauty and vibrance. Marble and natural stone tiles come in a vast variety of colors, designs, and finish options so it’s easy to find something that is suited to any style.

6.  Crystal Chandeliers

A crystal chandelier will add that pop of glam and luxury and take your bathroom from simple to chic with ease. There is a vast array of modern, traditional, and transitional chandeliers to choose from these days, so you’re bound to find the perfect one to fit your style. Placement is also key. Typically, it should be installed in the center of the bathroom, or over the bathtub as a focal point.
